Filmfest: LOVE OF YOUR LIFE

About the Film

Drama, Romance | 106 MIN | US

Maya (Margaret Qualley) is a 26-year-old nurse when she meets Charlie (Gabriel Basso) and the pair fall madly in love. Then the pandemic hits and soon after, Maya finds herself a digital nomad in Europe, anguished and almost assertively alone. How Maya learns she can’t move forward without paying the emotional debts of the past makes for a compelling, powerful cinema experience. Notable for a deeply nuanced performance by Qualley and equally strong work from the supporting cast (Aaron Pierre, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Catherine Keener), LOVE OF YOUR LIFE, the second feature directed by Oscar®-nominated cinematographer Rachel Morrison, is a story that will resonate with everyone who has ever loved and/or lost and so…all of us.
