Employment Opportunities

PART TIME OFFICE ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
(Approximately 20 hours per week)

 

OFFICE ADMINISTRATION

 

Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of Aspen Film’s daily office operations and administration. Maintains all office systems including phone, email, and computer, digital and paper files, equipment, and supplies. Works with bookkeeper to ensure orderly financial systems, record keeping and timely reporting. Handles accounts receivable and payable including banking transactions, i.e. credit card charges, weekly bank deposits, the coding and payment of bills, and in-kind reporting. Helps track ticket revenue, membership, donations, and merchandise sales. Assists with preparing monthly financial reports.

 

DONOR AND MEMBERSHIP SUPPORT

 

Responsible for the smooth and efficient running of Aspen Film’s basic donor operations and administration. Works to ensure excellent donor systems, communication and accurate record keeping. Assists with basic administration of Aspen Film’s donor relations, including generating correspondence, seasonal solicitations, renewals, and recognition outreach (digital and print), processing payments, updating database, and coordinating volunteer mailings and development-related reports.

 

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have:

  • 1-2 years experience in Office Administration, preferably for a non-profit
  • Stellar Mac proficiency in Office Suite and Salesforce or comparable database; working knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Proven track record organizing systems and overseeing multiple projects on deadline
  • Experience managing details and the big picture…a multitasker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Volunteer Opportunities

Aspen Film is always looking for people interested in volunteering. Currently, volunteers are needed for our upcoming festival to assist with guest services, ticket line management, and our special events and receptions. In addition we need volunteers in the office to assist with mailings and general administrative tasks. For every hour you work you earn tickets to our festivals, screenings and special events.

Aspen Film’s Internship Program offers a rich and challenging experience for qualified college students, graduates and young professionals who are actively pursuing careers in arts administration and film festival production. Internships focus on Marketing/Public Relations and Film Festival Production.
