About the Film

Action, Sports | 72 MIN | US

This 1986 classic is the first film that “broke” worldwide for Greg Stump and his filming partner Bruce Benedict. Director Stump was deeply influenced by Hunter S Thompson’s Gonzo journalism and Ralph Steadman’s ‘Ink Splotched’ illustrations. Comedy bits throughout, Maltese Flamingo is like no other ski movie before or after. Beloved skits including “The Secret Life of Sleeping Bags” propel the film to “Fly The Coop.”

Starring: Tony Hawk, Scott Kennett, Lynne Weiland, Mike Hattrup, Glen Plake, Geoff Stump, Chris Haslock, Robert Aguirre, Lee Lee Morrison, Scot Ogren, Jeff “Wiley Coyote” Coffin, “Big Dan” Curtis, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi and Lance Mountain.
