Synopsis: Travel with these world-class skiers as they take on the slopes in exotic locations, including Norway, Switzerland, France, Alaska and British Columbia. Mind-blowing action by these amazing athletes has been captured by some of the best cinematographers in extreme sports.
Special Guest: Wendy Fisher

Wendy started skiing in Lake Tahoe, where she grew up, and later attended Burke Mountain Academy in Vermont, a high school focused on ski racing. She raced with the United States Ski Team for seven years, making two World Junior teams (1989/1990), winning the U.S. Nationals overall title (1991), and earning a spot on the Winter Olympic Team (1992).
After stepping away from ski racing, she became a standout in big-mountain freeride, winning the World Extreme Skiing Championships twice (1996/1997) and taking the Freeride Pro Tour title (1998). She also competed in the first X Games Women’s skier-cross and skied for leading film companies including Warren Miller, Matchstick Productions, and Switchback Entertainment—earning Powder’s “Best Short” award for SuperMom.
This past September, Wendy was inducted into the Colorado Snowsports Hall of Fame. Crested Butte has been home for the last 30 years, where she raised two avid skiers, Aksel (20) and Devin (18).
