Calling all local film buffs: Filmfest 2024 is here, now is your time to shine.
The cool, dark confines of the ISIS theatre are calling. The taste of popcorn, the sticky floor of a movie theatre and the chance to cozy up to your date when the lights go down are among life’s simple pleasures.
I’d like to urge all locals, young and old, Aspenites new and seasoned, to check out this year’s lineup of films and attend at least one. The women at Filmfest have done an outstanding job, as usual. Our movie festival is a real local treasure, “Independent by Nature,” indeed.
