PRODUCTION + MARKETING COORDINATOR (Full Time)

Aspen Film’s Production + Marketing Coordinator offers crucial support to the organization by helping to liaise with the Aspen Film Isis Theatre, as well as capturing and promoting the events and programming we present there. As a member of both the Production + Marketing teams, this role provides technical support throughout the year for Aspen Film’s presentations and festivals, including helping to manage, coordinate, execute, and track all program activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending and helping to execute each of AF’s signature festivals 
  • Attending and helping coordinate tech for all AF presentations, events and live activities at the AF Isis Theatre
  • Overseeing film media movement for all AF Programming
  • Liaising with venues to ensure films play smoothly and in the correct exhibition format 
  • Helping to create and maintain event timelines and show-flows for events as needed
  • Using Aspen Film’s mobile studio to capture and record event photos + videos, plus help to edit them 
  • Assisting with production of essential event collateral including – printing + distribution of program guides, posters, flyers, postcards, and other outreach materials 
  • Overseeing AF’s image archive – uploading, editing, organizing and maintaining all event and organizational photos
  • Coordinating the creation of on-screen video presentations, pre-roll content, GOBOs and more 
  • Collecting attendance totals for screenings, festivals and education programs

Additional Specific Duties:

  • Uploading supplemental videos to the Aspen Film YouTube and other channels
  • Collaborating with community partners to help promote individual films or film programs 
  • Providing requested Aspen Film assets to partner organizations for marketing efforts and outreach
  • Collecting sponsor + grantor logos 
  • Overseeing creation of digital banners & brand assets for web 
  • Coordinating creation of banners and event retractables with AF’s graphic designer
  • Designing and printing festival/venue signage
  • Assembling awards dinner slideshow and presentation
  • Generate occasional MailChimp surveys and eBlasts 

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Stable housing in the RF Valley
  • 3-5 years production &/or marketing experience 
  • Experience using Adobe Suite
  • Experience with Videography +/or Photography strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Office Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends – as needed
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and projects without senior oversight
  • Comfort handling confidential information
  • Desire to be a multi-taking, self-starting superstar
  • A sense of humor and ability to handle high-stress situations with grace

 

Compensation: This is a year-round, full-time position based on-site in our Aspen Office. Working fully remotely is not an option for this role. Salary is between $45-52k per year, depending on experience. No relocation stipend available.
