MEMBERSHIP MANAGER (Part Time)

Aspen Film’s Membership Manager will be responsible for overseeing and growing our Membership Program, including developing a more robust member benefit plan. This role is best suited for a people person interested in interacting with Aspen locals and visitors alike. In addition to serving as the primary point of contact for AF Members, this person will act as a liaison to the Aspen Film Isis Theatre management team to handle and resolve member questions at the theater. This is a key role within the organization with large growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring excellent communication with AF Members + maintaining accurate records
- Working with Aspen Film Leadership to develop and grow member benefit initiatives
- Acting as on-site AF liaison to members at all AF events and festivals
- Overseeing all aspects of the membership cycle, including:
- Solicitations + mailings
- Renewals
- Recognition outreach (digital and print)
- Processing and recording payments in our CRM
- Processing and overseeing all member festival passes and communication
- Maintaining and providing updated member lists for on-screen acknowledgement during festivals
- Updating newsletter and digital subscription lists, including for the AF Isis Theatre
- Coordinating volunteers to execute mailings
- Providing ad hoc reporting on membership and campaign performance
- Analyzing performance and member cohort data
- Pushing new membership features and tests forward
Daily Tasks
- Walking potential members through the different membership levels and options
- Assisting with membership renewals and processing payments
- Responding to member questions in-person, by phone or email
- Assisting members with using their benefits at the AF Isis Theatre
- Maintaining meticulous member records by tracking membership, payment information and member communication and reporting
- Coordinating all member mailing and email campaigns
- Providing membership figures and data for grant writing efforts
- Attending all weekly internal and festival meetings
- Updating all membership information across platforms
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Stable housing in the RF Valley
- 3-5 years non-profit &/or membership coordination experience
- An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree. Will consider relevant work experience.
- Experience using CRM software; Salesforce strongly preferred
- Customer Service experience + excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Availability to work evenings and weekends – as needed
- Ability to collaborate across teams and projects without senior oversight
- Comfort handling confidential information
- Desire to be a multi-taking, self-starting superstar
- A sense of humor and ability to handle high-stress situations with grace
Compensation: This is a year-round, part-time, hourly position with growth potential. Flex time is possible, but some hours must be worked on-site in our Aspen Office. Working fully remotely is not an option for this role. $26-30 per hour, depending on experience. No relocation stipend available.
