ASPEN FILM EXPANDS TEAM WITH TWO NEW COLLEAGUES

Aspen, CO (October 18, 2019): Aspen Film is pleased to announce the recent addition of two new colleagues to its team: Susan Dampier, Events & Marketing Director and Jason Anderson, Shortsfest Program Director, both of whom bring years of experience, wisdom and insight to the organization.

“As we are a small organization, bringing on new team members is like marrying into a close-knit family,” says Aspen Film Executive + Artistic Director Susan Wrubel. “Susan and Jason are two people with whom I’d be happy to share holidays which is why I am so thrilled to welcome both to the organization. Both have a real understanding of the mission and goals of Aspen Film and bring so much with them which speaks to our culture and constituents.”

Wrubel adds, “Susan has been in the valley for 14 years, is a highly regarded professional with an incredible can-do attitude and she and her family are ingrained in this community. I couldn’t ask for a more respected and stalwart colleague. Jason’s work with Short Cuts at the Toronto international Film Festival is sure to resonate with the local community, and his comprehension of and approach to programming will speak to our audiences. He understands the tenor here and is excited to bring a new program to Aspen.”
