In order to best protect our patrons and members, it is Aspen Film’s policy that in order to gain entry into any Aspen Film sponsored event or screening, all attendees, staff and volunteers will be required to show a photo ID, along with either: 

  • Proof of being fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the event. 


  • Proof of a negative COVID test result received no more than 72 hours in advance of the event.


Masks are strongly encouraged, although not required.


NOTE – If you are unable to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, we will not be able to provide you with your tickets, even if they have been purchased ahead of time. No refunds will be issued due to lack of compliance with this policy.



The Wheeler Opera House offers the following additional safety measures:

  • Frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces is performed regularly and follows strict health department guidelines
  • Ventilation is in conformance with or exceeds OSHA guidance and CDC recommendations. 
  • Ionizers and MERV 13 filters are in all air handlers; multiple air handlers also utilize UV lighting. 
  • Control dampers that let in fresh air are 100% open when the building is occupied.


The Crystal Theatre offers the following additional safety measures:

  • ALL patrons to be fully vaccinated and will NOT accept proof of a negative test in order to be admitted to the venue. 
  • Socially distanced seating. While Theatre capacity is 150 people, only 50 people will be admitted for each film. 


The Isis Theatre offers the following additional safety measures:

  • Disinfect High-Contact Surfaces: High-contact surfaces will be disinfected frequently.  This includes restrooms (sinks faucets, handles, etc.), auditoriums, entrances/exits, railings, counters, podiums, and kiosks. The box office will be sanitized after every transaction. Seats in the auditoriums will be disinfected between every show (seats, armrests and tray tables).
